Worcester has the most selections of any BARB team to this year's MLB All-Star Game. And they have the winningest record in BARB, so far. Coincidence? The entire Eliminators starting outfield will make the squad! Black Mesa has six selections, but only one is a starting pitcher, reflecting their team's current need. Darwin, by contrast, has four starters on the MLB All-Star rosters. Los Angeles, sadly, has none at present though Mark Reynolds may be added as an alternate. The full breakdown of BARB teams by All-Star selection:

Worcester 8

Frostbite Falls 7

Fresno 7

Black Mesa 6

Darwin 6

Brooklyn 5

Yuma 5

Pottsylvania 3

Casselton 3

St. Francis 3

Las Vegas 3

Texas 3

Los Angeles 0*

Jeter doesnt deserve to be an all-star right guys?

Scott Hatfield . . . . said...

(grins) Neither does Josh Hamilton. Jeter was voted in by the fans, not by the players or the managers.

i guess my tone wasnt that sarcastic. i can admit my mistakes unlike some. i apologize for that. Jeter is ranked the #2 SS by cbs.sportsline and #2 by espn. Refresh my memory again, why doesnt he deserve to be an allstar? because his reaction time defensively has slowed and he doesn't show boat. Is that right? because in "reality" he still makes the plays and produces offensively. am i correct? you can say no just prove how he doesnt produce.

Brian,

If you haven't received a response yet, here are my thoughts:

If it's just one injury, I do not re-submit manager cards. I just tell Hatfield in writing where I want the replacement to hit. If there are multiple ones, I do re-submit it because I will likely completely change a lineup or two.

Yes, the DL period extends the same length in BARB as in MLB. If he's out for 20 days in the majors, he's out for 20 days in BARB. And this season, because the majors started a week late, I think the dates of going on and coming off have been very close, if not exact.

Howard is from St Louis, so its a homer call. Jeter is one of the games more marketable players who enjoys to play the game the right way. Every time I see Manny play, I wonder why I even bother watching the game anymore. But Jeter reminds me why the game is so great.
