FINCHES KEEP MYERS

Science blogger and unrepentant iconoclast PZ Myers, the manager of the Darwin Finches, has been awarded a contract extension to manage the Unnatural Selections for another year. While Myers has few fans outside his fellow invertebrates, he also made quick calamari of Darwin's foes, leading the club to a 93-63 record (tops in BARB) and a trip to the 2007 BARB World Series.

Myers, as usual, had a quick quip when asked about other BARB clubs, which (according to some sources) were praying hard that the baseball gods might dethrone the increasingly-dominant Finches. "Ha!" the Finches' skeptical skipper snorted. "Pray harder! Exercise a completely ineffective technique more strenuously!"

(sigh) It's OK, I'm at the incredible school site that blocks anything interesting from being viewed. Expect another tirade.

Ok, I just thought of something in regards to front office/managerial news. Wouldn't this post have been better suited on Darwin's blog? Either that or see if other teams have changes and then write them up on the main blog page. I made a front office change, for instance.
