The St. Francis Friars have kicked off the free-agent portion of the BARB off-season by selecting former Las Vegas and Lexington OF Chris Young, who was caught in a 'no-man's land' of free agency as a young player at the end of the 2007 season and ended up stagnating in the Luchadores minor-league system throughout last year, not even earning a promotion when rosters expanded.
