If you haven't done the following, you're probably behind:
1) Develop an idea of what your priorities are for your club
2) Develop a list of about 150 names. Could be unprotected players in the draft, major leaguers who have never been drafted, or prospects. Regardless, 150 names is about what you need
3) Figured out which (if any) of your own unprotected players that you might want to protect through the draft, and when. Players who are 'floated' through the entire draft can be signed for 50 percent discount. The risk is yours....
4) Figure out which (if any) players 'floated' through the draft that you wish to keep after the draft. Remember, if not on the DL, players must be assigned to the 40-man roster or else they are granted free agency, where they can be signed by other teams...but not you!
5) Plan on bringing a check for $15.00 to participate in the league. Please don't forget.
