No baseball blog would be complete without a tip of the hat to Jon Lester, who has conquered far bigger things than the Royals lineup. This article puts his achievement in perspective.
I would be remiss if I didn't point out, too, that the Finches drafted Lester just two seasons ago and he's bounced around since then: from Darwin to Arizona, back to Darwin, to Pottsylvania and now to Worcester, all without (as yet) making any kind of impact on BARB play.
Maybe the attention afforded by Lester's gem will make him a regular in BARB after all.
