A MEMBER OF THE ONE PERCENT RATES THE BARB MINOR-LEAGUE SYSTEMS: PART 2

Somewhere in the Cayman Islands----Hello, BARB fans! This is Part 2 of FREE report from Ike Goodyear, here at the East Caribbean Unlimited, Ltd (ECU). Our investment firm is providing this as a free service to ALL of you BARB owners, and we certainly don't want any individual owner to feel slighted.

You see, in our previous segment, we mentioned the "Occupy" movement and how it had unscrupulously and illegally destroyed merchandise from the Philadelphia franchise. Some of you may have gotten the idea that we were accusing (former) Philadelphia GM Ronald Melkonian of being a part of the "Occupy" movement. Not at all! In fact, that would be totally unfair to Mr. Melkonian, an individual who has never been known to "Occupy" any location for any meaningful length of time.

Maybe that's why, in our last post, we referred to his franchise as "Philadelphia", rather than "Arizona." We apologize for any confusion!

Let's now rate the minor-league systems only in terms of the number of TOP prospects, which we define as players unestablished in BARB that we had previously ranked in the top 50. Again, we hasten to add that this FREE report is simply one lonely tax accountant's opinions:

YUMA (10): SS Jurickson Profar (6), RHP Gerrit Cole (9), OF Wil Myers (11), C Travis D'Arnaud (15), RHP Jarrod Parker (21), 3B Anthony Rendon (23), 2B Billy Hamilton (29), RHP Jake Odorrizi (34), C Yasmani Grandal (40), RHP Sonny Gray

FROSTBITE FALLS (7): OF Mike Trout (1), OF Bryan Harper (3), SS Manny Machado (8), RHP Jacob Turner (13), OF Archie Bradley (16), C Gary Sanchez (32), LHP James Paxton (42)

POTTSYLVANIA (6): LHP Manny Banuelos (10), SS Nick Franklin (30), 1B Jonathan Singleton (33), RHP Chris Archer (39), RHP Brody Colvin (45), RHP Tanner Scheppers (48)

SIN CITY (5): LHP Matt Moore (2), RHP Jameson Tallihan (7), LHP Martin Perez (22), C Wilin Rosario (41), OF George Springer (43)

CASSELTON (2): OF Aaron Hicks (26), 3B Josh Bell (37)

ARIZONA (2): LHP Mike Montgomery (20), IF Tim Beckham (50)

WORCESTER (1): RHP Carlos Martinez (14)

Again, we hasten to mention that not only is this just one man's opinion, it does not include the impact of players in a club's minor-league system who are eligible for BARB play. So, while Central California has no prospects on this list, they have potential impact talents from their system, such as 1B Freddie Freeman, 2B Jemile Weeks, IF Danny Espinosa and RHP Danny Hudson. Next time, we'll break down the full spectrum of minor-league talent for all the clubs in the Eastern Division. And, remember, this is a FREE service from ECU, your favored TAX-FREE investment management service in the Cayman Islands!
