Man, the holidays wreck me every year. But Matt Caskey (Worcester) is right! We need to get the playoffs in BARB played, pronto.
So, we'll either have the opening round of the playoffs either on Sunday afternoon or Wednesday evening, this week. Please check back here for more info.
(I apologize for not offering playoff times previously, but I am truly unbelievably busy at the moment. As an example, in the next few days, my MONDAY (Cafe Scientifique), my TUESDAY (tutoring at the Library) and my THURSDAY (choir rehearsal) are already spoken for, and I will be out until at least 8:00 each evening.)
At any rate, your patience is appreciated and I look forward to your replies. The opening matchups are Darwin vs. Las Vegas, Yuma vs. Worcester in a best-of-five (2,2 and 1) with Darwin and Yuma having home-field advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Arizona has a new blog link. The new blog takes the way we have been doing BARB-related activities to the web (100%). On the homepage, you will find updated news involving not only D-Backs highlights, but also MLB.com recent news. The links to your right will be the portal to all the information you will ever need for BARB... ALL on the Web! Arizona will no longer send E-mail messages. Everything from Updated Full Team Rosters (including salaries, etc…), Trades, Updated changes made to the 25-Man roster, team set-ups (like your rotation, bullpen, line-ups…) up-to-date MLB stats on every player, as well as hyperlinks to their profile on ESPN.com... everything you can think of will be present on this new blogging experience. We are using this blogging tech. to the fullest of its potential. Hopefully all teams will do the same soon. This allows for zero paper usage, less confusion, and a quicker way to access information a team would like to know and use… say for trades. Who do you have… what are their salaries, what are their stats… well all this available on this page. Currently it is under construction; though take a quick look at my 2007-08 Full Team Rrosters Link to see how things will look and feel. All pages will have links to take you back to the AZ homepage, as well as the BARB page... you will also be able to click on pictures, as well as other various text to enhance your experience with this new system.
