Well...now that the Commissioner is actually halfway settled in his new room at Bullard, we can look forward to the reinstallation of the league software environment on the BHS campus. Though, as they say, the devil is in the details....
First of all, a hearty congratulation to GM's Andrew Haynes, Charles Oliver and Ronald Melkonian in joining the BARB-leading Finches in the playoffs. Here are your opening-round playoff matchups:
Frostbite Falls Flying Squirrels, winner of the wild card, will square off in a best-of-5 series (2, 2 and 1) vs. the Western champion Lexington Rebels.
Meanwhile, the Central champion Las Vegas Luchadores (76-76) will face the Eastern champion Finches in a best-of-5 series. An email has been sent out to the winning owners, who will communicate to the Commissioner about when and where these games are to be best played. Obviously, we hope to have the playoffs and Series completed before the Thanksgiving holiday, so we can look forward to an off-season aligned with MLB.
