The BARB GM's will have an informal (but hopefully, enjoyable) gathering on Monday, July 14th at the Me and Ed's Pizza at Bullard and West.
Your Commish will be there from about 4:30 on to make sure the TV is tuned to ESPN, where at 5:00 the State Farm Home Run Derby will be broadcast.
And, well, there may be some other surprises at this gathering...hope to see some of you then!
(Note: we aren't doing a gathering the following evening due to the fact that five of us are all playing on the same softball team...at least, those of us who aren't injured. Also note that since BARB clubs are as I type this anywhere from 70 to 76 games into the schedule, we aren't quite at our league's All-Star Break)

I'd just like to throw in that Frostbite Falls now has nine players in the All-Star game, tying Darwin for the league high. Carlos Marmol was just added in place of Kerry Wood (now if they would realize their mistake and put Cole Hamels in instead of Ryan Dempster, the world would be closer to right).
